VP of Delivery

Atlanta preferred · Remote considered Significant equity Reports to founder

You will own every client relationship from signed contract to production deployment and beyond — the full lifecycle of building, launching, calibrating, and continuously improving AI employees for real businesses. We call them Force Multiplier Agents (FMAs). They're in production, generating revenue, and demand is growing faster than we can deliver.

You are the person who makes clients successful. That means overseeing the onboarding process, managing the build and deployment pipeline, ensuring quality in production, and keeping a commercially-minded eye on where each client's needs are expanding. Upsell here isn't a sales motion — it's the natural consequence of doing excellent work and paying attention. You will also serve as the Responsible Human for several operational FMAs, meaning you directly oversee AI agents that are doing real work in the business. You report directly to the founder.

You will work with a small engineering team in a matrixed structure, coordinating their time against client delivery priorities. This is a leadership role that requires you to operate at the intersection of client management, technical delivery, and operational discipline — with a team that includes both humans and AI.

This is a ground-floor leadership role. Significant equity ownership, vested over time. These are early, post-revenue roles and the equity reflects this. The founder is fully funding the company, with cashflow positive targeted in the next 90 days alongside a capital raise.

Matt Dollacker is a Computer Science graduate and engineer-leader who is regularly at the terminal and the whiteboard. His prior company, InductiveHealth, sold for over $100M. He was named Emory University's Entrepreneur of the Year in Healthcare (2025). He trained his first deep neural network in 2017, has 200 GPUs in his garage, and treats building companies the way he treats building large technology systems — as an engineering challenge with different constraints. He is fully self-funding FxM because he sees a narrow and closing window to build something transformative for the millions of established businesses navigating the AI shift.

  • Own the full client delivery lifecycle: from contract signature through onboarding, FMA build coordination, production deployment, testing, calibration, and ongoing refinement
  • Be the person clients trust — you are their primary relationship with the company, and the quality of that relationship is the quality of our business
  • Coordinate engineering resources in a matrixed structure to ensure client deliverables are met on time and at the standard we require
  • Serve as the Responsible Human for operational FMAs — you will directly manage AI agents that handle onboarding, client communication, and other business functions
  • Identify organic expansion opportunities within existing client relationships — additional FMAs, new use cases, broader scope — through attentive delivery, not selling
  • Build the repeatable systems that turn a founder-driven delivery operation into a scalable machine — playbooks, quality standards, escalation protocols, and client communication rhythms
  • Hold yourself and your team to tight delivery timelines with clear done criteria and daily verification
  • Leadership at a top-tier consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte S&O, Accenture Strategy) or equivalent delivery leadership at a high-growth technology or professional services company — you've run complex client engagements with real accountability and your name on the outcome
  • A track record of owning client relationships where the stakes were high — not just managing projects, but being the person the client called when something mattered
  • Strong academic credentials from a rigorous institution — not because the degree matters, but because it signals intellectual horsepower and discipline
  • Experience building and running small, high-performing delivery teams — you've hired, fired, and had the uncomfortable conversations that keep a team honest
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action — you've operated in environments where the playbook didn't exist yet and you wrote it
  • Deep familiarity with operational frameworks like EOS or Scaling Up — and the judgment to know when to follow the framework and when to deviate
  • You've used AI tools meaningfully in your work and have strong intuitions about where AI adds leverage and where it doesn't
  • A natural commercial instinct — you don't need to be a salesperson, but you notice when a client has a problem you could solve and you know how to surface it without being pushy
  • You need a large team and established infrastructure to be effective — we have neither, by design
  • Your experience is primarily advisory (you told others what to do but didn't own delivery yourself)
  • You're uncomfortable managing AI agents alongside humans, or you think "AI employee" is just marketing language — it's the core of our operating model
  • You optimize for process over outcomes — we care about what ships, not what's documented
  • You require top-of-market base compensation — the base here is reasonable, the real upside is equity in a company with a proven founder, live clients, and a massive market
  • You've never operated in a founder-led, early-stage environment where speed and judgment matter more than consensus
  • You view client delivery as beneath a senior leader — this role is hands-on with clients every day, and that's the point
  • You're looking for a stable, predictable role — this will be neither

Base salary is reasonable but not top-of-market. The real opportunity is significant equity ownership, vested over time, in a ground-floor leadership role alongside a founder who has built and sold a $100M+ company. These are early, post-revenue roles and the equity reflects this. You and the founder will both know within 12 months whether this is life-changing in financial outcomes, or a great learning experience with an exceptional operator.

With your application, please provide the base compensation you'll require. This is a filter — we want people who have done the math on the equity opportunity and are betting on themselves.
